Safety rules for the silo area
H350 may cause cancer, H360 may damage fertility, H372 causes damage to organs through prolonged exposure
Access to the silo area only for authorised, instructed personnel
When entering the silo area, protective headgear (bump cap/helmet), safety goggles, safety vest and safety shoes (S3) must be worn
The unloader must wear tight-fitting safety goggles
Hazard due to construction machinery and lorry operations, harmful substances, risk of slipping and entanglement at conveying equipment
Maintain visual contact with the drivers of construction machinery and lorries – construction machinery has right of way
Delivery drivers/pick-up drivers are not permitted to move away from the vehicle or cross the site
The instructions issued by our employees are to be followed
Fit hose safety clamps
Under no circumstances are blockages in conveying lines to be rectified without informing our employees
Pressure equalisation only permitted via the silo installation
Maintenance and repair companies require a safety briefing before entering the silo area
First aid material is located in the control container
Leave the area immediately if dust escapes
Do not touch substances – if contact occurs, rinse immediately with copious clean water
